Kidney Support Groups are small, informal
groups that meet regularly discuss
issues related to kidney disease and transplantation. The
focus is on providing support to the patient dealing with
kidney disease, and their family and friends. Kidney transplant
recipients, or those on a waiting list are welcome, as are
those on kidney dialysis. Occasionally some of the sessions
will be led by a guest speaker, such as a doctor, nurse, social
worker, dietician, etc.
