Make a Gift

Kidney Cars

Donating your car, van, truck, or motorized boat is easy.   By donating your vehicle, you are helping to fund public and professional education, patient and community services, research, and organ donation programs of the National Kidney Foundation.  Visit our FAQs page if you have any questions about our Kidney Car program, or call us toll-free at 1-888-KIDNEY8.  Click here to donate a Kidney Car.

Donate at your Workplace

Ask your Manager or Human Resources Department if they participate in any of the following programs: United Way, Combined Federal Campaign, Combined Virginia Campaign, Local Government and Schools Campaign, or Community Health Charities.  The Foundation is eligible to receive donations through these campaigns as long as you designate your donation for the National Kidney Foundaiton of the Virginias.  Some of the campaigns require you to specify a campaign number - they will provide you with a campaign brochure which lists all of the numbers.  If you do not receive a brochure, use these campaign numbers:

  • Combined Federal Campaign (National) - 12003
  • Combined Federal Campaign (Richmond & South Hampton Roads) - 56815
  • Commonwealth of Virginia Campaign - 6045
  • Local Government & Schools Campaign - 6045

Ukrop's Golden Gift Program

Any Ukrop's customer that has a valid UVC (Ukrop’s Valued Customer) card can participate in the store's Golden Gift Program.  You accumulate points on your UVC card for each purchase over $100 between February 4 and March 29.  The more points you earn, the greater the amount of the Golden Gift Cerificate that will be mailed to you.  Golden Gift Cerificates allow you to donate to a non-profit organization of your choice.  When you receive your Golden Gift Certificate, make a gift to the National Kidney Foundation of the Virginias by mailing the cerificate to us at 1742 E. Parham Road, Richmond VA, 23228.

Donor Privacy Policy - The National Kidney Foundation of the Virginias does not sell or trade a donor's personal information to any other entity unless we receive written permission from the donor.  Any donor wishing to have their name removed from our mailing list needs only call or email the Foundation; the request will be granted immediately.
